U12B EXTRA Tryout Dates
/U12 Parents-
Region 17 will be conducting U12 Boys EXTRA tryouts on the following dates as shown below.
The EXTRA Program is an AYSO program that is designed to provide a more challenging level of play for those players who possess the appropriate interest, skills, and abilities while retaining the spirit and organization of AYSO. The EXTRA season runs concurrently with the normal AYSO fall season. The Region 17 EXTRA team will play against EXTRA teams from other regions in the Los Angeles area.
All boys who register for the upcoming Region 17 Fall season born during the years of 2006-2007 (and attend a tryout) are eligible to play on the U12 Boys EXTRA team. Any eligible player interested in playing on the EXTRA team must attend at least one of the tryouts listed below:
1) Monday (5/22) at Washington Field from 6:30-8pm
2) Wednesday (5/31) at Washington Field from 6:30-8pm
The evaluators will be looking for those twelve (12) players who possess the appropriate interest, skills, and abilities to play at a more competitive level.
Please have your child wear their fall or spring soccer jersey to the tryout as this helps us to easily keep track of the kids during the tryout evaluation.
Parents need to stay during the tryout to monitor their child as there will be many kids present and the evaluators will be focused on performing the evaluation.
If your child is selected to be on the EXTRA team, there is an additional cost of $100 per player to participate (this cost is in addition to the fall registration fee).
